Quantum Mechanics explains all
Bear with me on this, it gets pretty confusing pretty quickly.

Quantum mechanics is a fairly complex thing, I'm not going to pretend to understand it fully, but I do know some base principles.
One, single particles, like atoms and photons behave differently than the things that they make up. Check out this video on YouTube explaining the experiment.. it's pretty darn cool. It basically proves that the same photon can exist in more than one place at a time.

Wait.. existing in the same place at the same time? What witchcraft is this? It's quantum theory my good friend.
Essentially, it ties into the Many Worlds Theory. Watch the video

SO, if there are paralelle worlds that exist where every possibility could occur, then there are infinite you's out there.

Remember how single particles behave differently than the things they make up? Well, your brain is run by ionic movement, charged calcium and potasstium (atomic elements), among others, are moving around creating synapses. What if this movement of ionic things in your body behave differently than the element they make up? Your mind could be a by-product of neural activity.
Let's go with that for a moment. If your mind is merely a by-product of atomic movement in your brain, then it stands to reason that matter, much like in the double slit experiment is acting like a wave function interfering with itself. Does this extend to your mind existing in more than one place at the same time? Think about that for a minute, we've assumed that there are infinite versions of the universe with infinite copies of you. Some of you are very close to This Universe You, some of you are evil dictators of Quebec, some of you are sadly dead, some of you are living a wall street high life, anything that is a possibility, no matter how improbable, is in the multi-verse.
Let's concentrate on the You's that are very similar. It's possibile that they are living in a universe so similar that the only difference is.. say.. the color of your underwear today. Something virtually insignificant.
The Other You is living a practically paralelle life in everyway.
Remember how those waves interfere with eachother? They start out behaving like matter, move into a wave state and then back into a matter state, giving evidence of a wave pattern. What if another you experiences something the same time you do, but the interference occurs right at that time (remember, we're dealing with minds) and you perceive something in tandum from their version of the universe (practically the same as yours)and your own at the same time. You'd have a feeling of familiarity and like you'd seen it before.. You'd be experiencing Deja Vu.
